Trisha Taylor Kennedy
Trisha was born in the panhandle of Texas. She had a challenging childhood but had parents and grandparents who laid a strong faith foundation for her. They also taught her, by example, that all people are important and special in God’s eyes. That is how Trisha first came to have a passion for treating everyone with regard, no matter the circumstances or the background. She desires to help each person she encounters see themselves as valued and become the best they can be.
Trisha believes that understanding your value begins with a relationship with Jesus.
Trisha and Jody have traveled extensively around the world as missionaries and while working with various Christian organizations for several decades. Through a series of circumstances, they had to return to the United States where they have a home near Fort Worth, Texas. They continue working and volunteering with various ministries around the country. Trisha considers her faith and family to be most important to her. When they are not traveling, it is not unusual in the day of cell phones for someone to call and instead of saying “hello,” they ask, “Where in the world are you?”
While many people their age spend their days contemplating retirement, Trisha and Jody have a desire to use their “bonus days” serving their Lord Jesus Christ, for as long as he allows.
Trisha’s desire is to share how God has taught her about himself in the midst of the bounces and jerks on the roller coaster of life. She shares openly and honestly about joys and defeats from her tender heart and how she keeps her hands in the air as she rides on that roller coaster.
